Sr. Jean Marshall, director of St. Rita’s Immigration Center, won the Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights in 1999.
Playwright Catherine Filloux developed the Cambodian genocide oral history project titled “A Circle of Grace” with the St. Rita’s Immigration Center Cambodian Women’s Group.
TZCLC Board Member Sr. Lauria Fitzgerald was featured in the New York Times article Coming Out of His Tunnel and Helping a Bronx Nun in 2006
